Hi, Sue-Ellen:

Does this book mention any Mac/McDonald's who may have emigrated from Scotland and settled in Cumberland County, NS? I am seeking to find my husband's 4x great grandfather, Alexander Mac/McDonald who married an Isabella (poss. McMichael). Alexander is shown in the Census & other data as being "born in Scotland" (very informative!!) between 1806-1815. Their son, Archibald was born Sept 18, 1840 in either Wallace or Fox Harbour, NS. After 10 years of research, I still can't get across the pond to Scotland.

Thank-you for your help.

Betty
