I do have some information on Charles Wesley Maccarthy, born 1830 in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., NY and died 10 Feb 1912. I am a descendant of his sister Jane who married William Bonner. They lived in Ossian, Livingston Co. NY where Charles retired and later died. I also have discovered some information on their parents, Joseph MacCarthy and Mary Dean. I have found the name spelled in various ways: McCarthy, McCarty, McArthey, etc. I am willing to share information with anyone working on this family.
