He m. (2) Margaret McAllister and had 8 sons and three daus. It is said that at least four of his sons settled in Northern Ireland. Do you know any more of these McNeill/MacNeills of Colonsay? I am a descendant of the MacNeill/MacMillan/Currie's of Colonsay and I do not appear to have a Lachlan m: Mary do you know the names or dates for them? Hope to hear from you soon.
