**Robert Macauley Reid died 20 Nov. 1873, aged 41; buried St. Bartholomew's Churchyard, Roby, Liverpool.
1.Sir John Reid of Barra, Aberdeenshire, m. Barbara Livingston, dau of Thomas Livingston, M.D., of Dawny Hills, Co. Aberdeen.
2.Mary Reid (1787-1862) m. 1809 Francis Shand, Esq., b. 1782, of Edinburgh and Liverpool.
3.William Walker Shand (1821-1867) of Liverpool and Antigua; m. Elizabeth Jane Brathwaite (1825-1903), eldest dau of Miles Brathwaite.
4.Francesca Reid Shand m. Capt. Joseph Honner, R.N.
4.James Sinclair Shand, b. 1860.
4.Alexander Reid Shand, b. 1864; youngest son; m. 1890 at St. John's Church, Darlinghurst to Roselyn Eva Rust, dau of T. Rust, M.D. of Norfolk, England.
4.Mary Reid Shand, b. abt. 1858; m. 1879 Joseph Bealey Strongitharm, merchant, nephew of John Edward Bealey, d. 1889, son of Joseph Bealey of Bloxwich.
5.Constance Mary Stongitharm, b. 1884; lived Huyton (?); bapt. at St. Bartholomew's, Roby, Liverpool.
5.Colin Shand Strongitharm, bapt. 1888; died five weeks old; buried St. Bartholowmew's Churchyard.
5.Gertrude Alice Strongitharm, bapt. 1889

Beatrice Mary Shand, b. Liverpool; niece of Sir Anthony Musgrave, probably through his first wife, Christiana Elizabeth Byam, youngest dau of the Hon. Sir William Byam of Cedar Hill, Antigua and Westwood, Hants; Beatrice Mary Shand married 1884 to P. Lefroy, son the the Very Rev. Jeffry Lefroy, Dean of Dromore, Ire. and Helena Trench, dau of the Rev. Frederick Trench [information of Musgrave and Lefroy can be found in Burke's Colonial Gentry].
