Note #1. Dalmoak--John Sempill of Fulwood and Margaret Noble gave land of Dalmoak c. 1569 to one of their younger sons.Land later sold to Bontine of Ardoch, who sold it to Graham of Gartmore, who sold it to John Dixon of Levengrove.
Note #2.Robert Denzelstoun infeft in lands of Ross in 1482 upon the regignation of Duncan Macaulay of Spittal of Ross; Robert was married to Elizabeth Napier, dau of John Napier of Merchiston by his wife, Elizabeth Menteith, dau of Patrick Menteith of Rusky and granddau of Lady Margaret, dau of Duncan, Earl of Lennox.Elizabeth Napier, surviving her husband, entered into a contract to marry Humphrey Colquhoun.
Note#3.Robert Denzelstoun related to David Watson of Croslet.
Note #4.MacWalters claim descdent from younger son of Earls of Lennox.

In 1578--agreement made with Humphrey Colquhoun that McGregor's son and heir would marry Marion Colquhoun and that Humphrey's eldest son and heir, John, would marry Janet MacGregor, dau of John MacGregor.
