Dobbs Family

1. Richard Stewart Dobbs, son of Francis Dobbs and Jane Stewart of Ballintoy, m. Harriet Macauley of Glenville, Cushendall with issue.

A close relative of Richard was Arthur Dobbs, Royal Governor of North Carolina. In 1745 he and a partner had purchased about 400,000 acres of land in Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties. Dobbs planted many families from co. Antrim, France and Germany on his lands.

MacNeill Family

1. Nannie m. Brian "paca" McAuley of Apaggaherin.
2. Son of Nannie and Brian was Dr Charles McAuley of Glenarm who m. Mary, dau of Patrick O' Neill of Grenaghan. Dr McAuley's dau , Rosetta, m. her cousin Archibald McNeill.

2 Anne m. Alec McAuley of The Woodmouth son of Niall McAuley of The Waterside.

Dunlop Family
c. 1612 1. Bryce Dunlop m. Christian Stewart dau of John (James) Stewart from Bute.

3 Their son, John, m Rose MacNeale
4 Their son, Archibald, m Rose Macauley, dau of Alexander Macauley of Glenville, Cushendall
