Hi Linda,
When I was in the Army at the end of WWII I spent 2 years in MacArthurs Headquarters in Tokyo. He had a son Arthur that would be about 75 or so by now. He didn't want anything to do with the spotlight so he changed his name and disappeared. I have never heard anything about him since then. I have done some research on MacArthur but there isn't too much information. His mother was Mary Pinckney Hardy so I was trying to see if she was connected to my Pinckney line but not as far as I can find out.
