My ex husband was born in 1942 in Garden City, NY. His grandparents came to New York around the turn of the century, settled in lower Manhattan, then moved to Elmhurst, NY. After that they moved to a town in Nassau County whose name I can't remember. Grandma Mac's name was Lillian. I believe they were from Sicily.
