I am the great, great granddaughter of William.I havae done extensive work, but I did not feel it was ready to put on-line.Esther Foundry b. 4/9/1814 in PA, d.1/1/1887 in Montville, Medina, OH. Children Cornelia, William, Peter, Janette, Edwin b. 3/15/1841, Marietta b. 8/10/1843, Amanda b. 1846 in PA, James Floyd 1847, Eliza b. 1855.
William and Esther Mabry with their six children came to Montville, Medina County, Ohio from near Allentown, Lehigh County, PA in 1850.Esther buried Pow Cemetary.1870 cencus lists them as Mayberry.
Edwin Mabryb. March 15,1841 d, Nov. 30,1906. Buried Spring Grove Medina.He was a soldier in the 29thregiment of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry of the Civil War and served for three years.He Married Maria Filleyb. Sept. 7, 1847 d. Jan. 10,1902 m. 1867 from Dresden Ohio.They had five children Frank 1869 ( I have a note ?9/15/1868) died 10/2/1943.He lived in Newark, OH and worked for the railroad.1 stepson name not known.
Frederick 6/6/1870 died 12/13/1942.He married lillian Hewes in 1893.They had 6 children.Mildred, died in childhood, Edwin, Florence, John, Milla, Frank.Llillian died 3/330/1908.
Harry Filley (my grandfather) b. 1/9/1872.He married Lizzie Winters on 12/23/1896.He was killed in automobile accident 4/11/1942 Lodi, Medina, OH.Lizzie b. 11/6/1878 Lafayete, Medina,OH d. 4/26/1963 Medina, OH of congestive heart failure.Harry had a leg cut off just below the knee in a saw mill accident.He farmed and did many odd jobs.He took care of the animals in the neighborhood because there was no veterinarian.I have many fond memeries of him.They had two children, Henry b. 1/17/1908 d. 7/23/1969 Lodi, Medina, OH.He was a veterinarian. Married Kathleen Hadley of England.
My mother, Edna Louise b. 10/12/1912 in Layayette, OH d. 3/29/1997 Medina OH. She married Orlin Farr Freese b. 6/26/1912 Brunswick, OH on 10/24/1931 in Oberlin,OHThey had 8 children.I am the oldest, Margaret, Jeannette, Evelyn, James, Richard, Ethel, Donna, John, all still living.I will be posting this information soon on Rootsweb, Church Later-Day Saints, Genealogy.com.The 1850 Census had the spelling Mayberry.
Mary(Maime) b. 3/6/1874 d. 1/7/1950 Married Elias Holmes b. 7/30/1865d. 1930, owned a geneeral store, one son Neal.
Janette b. 3/23/1882 d. 1928, married Orin Becker, one daughter Eunice, Married Overly, son Dale.She was my mother's favorite aunt.She taught my mothher how to sew and made some dresses for my mother as a child.

Note I found and have no idea if relatedAaron D. Mayberry born about 1845 in Lehigh, PA(AFN: 20V7-6SP) married to Josephine Amelia Knauss, about 1865 of PA (AFN:20V2-HD3)I think Aaron may be a brother to Edwin.There are 2 Mabry web sites.
Obiturary that Mother wrote about Frank Erb Mabry,1906his mother died when he was about two years old.The youngest of five children.He was raised by Mrs. and Mrs. Jess Erb.They lived on E. Washington St in Medina.He went by their name to high school,.He graduated in Medina 1926.Later went into business as wholesale jewelry in Akron with two older brothersDied 1982 in Akron.His father , Fred,was my father’s brother. Fred lived across from Bennet Lumber Company E. Smith road.Fred died Dec. 13, 1942Waite Funeral home handles these funerals.His mother was Josephine and a half sister Ruth Eby. ( from a note found in Grandma’s birthday book)
