William Oscar Mabee is mentioned on p, 132 of 6000 New York Ancestors, A Compendium of Mabie Research by R. Robert Mutrie which is available for purchase at

William Oscar Mabee, b. 1853, d. 1917 m. Emily Dean, resided Mabee's Corners, Ontario, Canada.

William Oscar Mabee was the child of Anne Maybee and her first husband ____Mabee.

Anne Maybee was the child of Thomas Pinckney Maybee, b. Port Dover, Norfolk, Ont. ca 1794 who m1 Deborah Culp; m2 1856 Deborah House. They lived in Middleton twp. Norfolk Co, Ont.

Thomas Pinckney Maybee was a child of Silas Mabee b. 1758 New Rochelle, NY, m. at Port Hope, Ont, Phoebe La Prca, b. ca 1762.

Silas Mabee was a child of Simon Mabee b. ca 1701 New Rochelle, NY, m. Marie Landrin. They first lived at New Rochelle, NY. Then moved to Yorktown, NY. A Loyalist, he moved to New Brunswick with his children, grandchildren, nephews and their families 1n 1783. Silas is believed to be a child of Simon's second marriage. The name of Simon's second wife is not given.

Simon Mabee was a child of Caspar Pieterszen Mabie and Elizabeth Schuerman.
