In the 1881 census records there is an Alfred E Mabb age 6. May be the Alfred (?Frank) in your family line. He would be the brother of my Great Grandfather (Henry John Mabb). Born in Wadhurst Sussex but living in Brenchley Kent at the time of the 1881 census. I would be interested if you have any further information.
