Zela M. DeLuca of Revere, at 77, insurance worker
Zela M. (Hutto) DeLuca of Revere, a retired insurance worker, died Monday at Massachusetts General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 77.
Born and raised in Mississippi, Mrs. DeLuca was a resident of Beachmont-Revere for the past 47 years.
She worked for Royal Insurance Co. for 30 years, and retired in 1995. She was a member of the Royal Guard.
Wife of the late Ernest J., Mrs. DeLuca is survived by her daughter, Joanne Dupuis of Reading; two sisters, Zemmia Boutwell and Zattie Graham, both of Mississippi; two brothers, Warren "Abe" Hutto, and Woodrow "Buck" Hutto, both of Mississippi; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Porcella Funeral Home, Beachmont-Revere.
Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
