I have Holton Sumner Hosselyn married to Susanna Sweetser, 10 April 1836 in Lynn, Essex County, MA. He and Susanna have 6 children between 1836 and 1846/1847. From the 1850 Census, Chelsea, Suffolk County, MA, on Ancestry.com. In 1870 Susan Josselyn is living with daughter Abby Marsden, wife of Theodore. Susan died 1876, MA Vital Records Index online. No record of Houghton (or Hooton, or Holton) Josselyn in 1860 or 1870 censuses. Other spellings for Houghton and Josselyn possible. I have Caroline K. Josselyn, daughter of Almeron Josselyn and Chloe Whitten, born 22 Oct 1809 in Hanover, Plymouth County, MA. Only connection of Houghton Josselyn to Almiron and Chloe is from John S. Barry's Historical Sketch of Hanover, MA. Wessler's book is wrong regarding Caroline. I would welcome direct correspondence at caf1b2h@cox.net
