I'm trying to find the family of SGT Wallace K. Scott, ASN: 11087429, 533rd Bomber Squadron, 381st Bomber Group, Heavy. SGT Wallace K. Scott was KIA on January 30, 1944. SGT Scott entered the service from Boston, MA on August 15, 1942. He was born in 1922 and before entering the service he was living in Suffolk County, MA. SGT. Scott's B-17 was attacked by fighters, exploded and spun down. The plane crashed on the street between Ottbergen and Wohle in Germany. The assigned primary target were aviation industry plants in Brunswick (Braunschweig) Germany. SGT Scott flew with the following crew: 2 Lt. Robert P. Deering (P) KIA 2 Lt. Robert P. Williams (CP) POW 2 Lt. David Barer (N) KIA 2 Lt. Paul O. Crabtree (B) POW S/Sgt. Wardell H. Horne (TT) KIA S/Sgt. Andrew H. Richards (RO) KIA Sgt. Floyd L. Husvar (BT) KIA Sgt. Lloyd H. Jackson (LW) KIA Sgt. Wallace K. Scott (RW) KIA S/Sgt. Laren I. Sanford (TG) KIA Aircraft #42-31047 MS-T, nicknamed "Wolverine" SGT Wallace K. Scott is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery and his grave is adopted. The adoptive family would like to get in touch with the Scott family.
