Hope someone can help.

What I do know is a Stephen Massey was born abt 1790 in Nc and is my ancester.

What I am trying to confirm is his father and before.

I believe that his father (also Stephen Massey)was born in
1761 in Nantucket and moved to Nc with his parents in 1771.

I believe that this Stephen Massey had a father also Stephen Massey born in Nantucket in 1741.
His father I believe was David Massey.

There is a chance that the Masseys spelled their name Macy in Ma and Massey in Nc and Tn.

Does anyone have any info on this family?
