I am looking for information, especially the burial site, on Clinton Swain. He served as an officer in the 81st Pa. during the Civil War. He was killed at The Battle of Fredericksburg, December 13, 1862. His parents were from Nantucket, and I believe he lived there before the war. It is possible that his remains may have been sent home to Nantucket for burial there. I would be very grateful for any help or information on him, or help in finding his burial location. I am researching the men of the 81st Pa.
