Help! I am looking for information to ascertain whether or not info from Ancestral File is correct on Mary ELLIS (daughter of Simeon ELLIS and Mary MOOERS) born Nantucket, 15 Oct 1748. Here goes:

The AF states that this Mary ELLIS married a Robert ELLIS on Nantucket on 26 Feb 1768. This info also appears in the book "The Family of Lt. John and Elizabeth (FREEMAN) Ellis of Sandwich, MA" compiled by Col. Harry H. Ellis, 1983. Robert ELLIS was the son of John and Rachel (FOLGER) ELLIS; he was born on 8 Nov 1745.

Here's the problem: The Ancestral File info states that this same Mary ELLIS married a second time on Nantucket on 30 Jun 1774 to a Peter NORRIS born in Wareham, MA, about 1748 to Oliver and Sarah (HASKELL) NORRIS. The Ellis book does not include this information at all. Does anyone know if this AF info is true??? Is the Mary ELLIS, daughter of Simeon and Mary ELLIS, the same Mary ELLIS who married Peter NORRIS? (meaning that her first husband, Robert, died early in the marriage)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I descend through Peter and Mary (ELLIS) NORRIS's son Thomas.
