I am trying to find information about my great grandfather James Flood's family. He was born in Nantucket in 1842, served on whaling ships and in the Union army during the Civil War. He moved to Providence RI, and married Mary Carroll in May 1870. Mary immigrated to the U.S. from Clogher, County Tyrone, Ireland.
