I'm trying to find the family of 1 Lt. Arthur Cole, ASN: O-1310578, 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. 1 Lt. Arthur Cole was KIA October 25, 1944.
He was born August 23, 1921 and before entering the service he was living in Watertown, MA.
1 Lt. Cole entered the service from Boston, MA on March 27, 1942.
Listed as his beneficiaries were his mother Rose E. Cole, living at 78 Bertwell Rd. Lexington, MA and his father Edward W. Cole, living at 81 Orchard St. Watertown, MA. In 1946 his parents lived at 1700 Massachusetts Ave. Lexington 73, MA. They owned a store with the name Cole's Melody Shop.
1 Lt. Arthur Cole is listed on the Wall of the Missing at the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial. I've adopted his name and I would very much like to get in touch with his family.
