Edna Viola EVELYN

My great aunt Edna Viola EVELYN b Barbados 21Dec1899 emigrated to the US arriving in New York in June 1924 possibly to marry a man either in or from Massachusetts. On the ship's manifest her intended address is shown as 718 St Marks Ave., Brooklyn, home of her cousin Maple MAYNARD nee Barrow; wife of Rupert MAYNARD, both Barbadians. Maple ( or May) had been in the US since 1906. I don't know whether Maple is an actual cousin or just a close friend. Does anyone have any information on her? My great aunt disappears from the records it seems after her arrival on the Guiana in 1924. I can find no naturalisation, marriage or death record for her. Hope someone can help!
