on ancestry (library edition) i found a Goins family tree which showed paul and jean reed and indicated that there was a living daughter.I am unable to access the subscriber to connect the families.
Info from an orphanage shows jean isabel macdonald to be the mother of a child born in nj.1935.He is a 78 yo adult now trying to find his family. His father is not mentioned in orphange as he denied paternity. Isabel left nj for mass and gave up the child in 1937 and in 1938 married paul emile reed. I have dod for his sister which can be pursued as last resort.Am looking for his brother's dod also.drawing at straws if no other info available.
i think Jean's brother charles r macdonald b.1919 Ct who appears in only 1930 boston census must have died before 1940 father Alex appears in 1940 nj newark as a divorced lodger.
I think the family doesn't want to be found due to the orphan situation.
thanks for your interest.
