Thank you very much for the information.
I got my information from family/Parish records and 1901/1911 census in Ireland at www.census.nationalarchives.e
And familysearch.org for USA information[both excellent sites]

Can I ask about the draft registration cards,would they actually have gone to war.

Yes the name Early is very common,which make it harder,also many 1st names the same!
