Unidentified Images - William Reed of Weymouth Family
Posted by: Nancy Evans (ID *****5039) Date: October 08, 2012 at 15:42:21

I have some very old tin types that came from my Reed family. They are virtually all unidentified. A few were labeled and I actually have guessed at a few others. I am not at all sure of the years for these either. One of the persons identified is my great grandfather Albion B Reed (b. 1852 d. 1897). 95% are tiny and in a tiny album.

They could all be Reeds or connected families. Other families connected are Brown, Porter, Ramsdell, Whitmarsh, Tomson, Tirrel, Dryer, Nash, and Campbell. Mostly the family lived in East Bridgewater, Brockton,Abington, and Weymouth. My Reeds descend from William Reed (wife Avis Chapman) of Weymouth, then his son William who married Esther Tomson, then William who married Alice Nash, then Capt Ebenzer who married Hannah Thompson. I can share more if your are interested. My main goal is to find assistance with the images.

If others of this line have images I am happy to share to see if we can pinpoint anything. Suggestions are most welcome too.

If you think you might be able to assist via ancestry and give me an email address and I can send a pdf file of the images.

Thank you in advance!!
