Dear Bob I really appreciate your help and your feedback but I think this is the 5th time I mentioned that unless I have a definite short span of time like a month or little more and a definite place where any of them have died, they cannot help me, not the library -no one. Town hall , city hall, doesn't matter you have to give them a place and a time. They simply will not start looking thru years of info, They could have died at an old age who knows?
There is one area where they might look thru a ten year span for a price but the problem with that is where do they look? I would have to send 10 year spans starting with 1939 to 1949 and then 49 to 59 and 59 to 69 and 69 to 79 and 79 to 89 and 89 to 99. I would stop there because that would make them close to 100 years old.
So that is 6 different time spans to check. And now we have to do each time span for every state in the union and then try other countries, do you see the impossibility of it?
That is why they keep telling me to come to the library and go thru all the microfische which of course is impossible.
thanks
Sandy
