I was able to check the Boston Immigration records and found that Emma, age 15 and Henry Mathisen, age 11, left Liverpool 30 May 1899, arriving at Boston aboard the S.S. Cephalonia. Their final destination was Cambridge, MA. They had no money and were joining Johan Johnson at 146 Harvard St., Cambridge, MA Emma was listed as servant. My U.S. information about my grandmother, Anna Mathisen, shows no connection to Cambridge, MA or Johan Johnson and cannot find Emma or Henry in the 1900 or 1910 U.S. Census for Massachusetts. I am beginning to think that Emma and Henry may not be related to my grandmother. What do you think?
