Interesting!. There seems to be some discrepancies (no surprise) in some of the records. I appreciate the 1870 census which shows Greeley born in NH and his 2nd and 3rd children born in MA. That state must not have been satisfactory as they returned to NH, perhaps to be with the parents.There was Jane M. born in MA (1850) a year before Charles. She is probably the same as the Maria born that year in MA and probably the child over 21 that you mentioned. Thanks.
