Therefore, it seems they were registered at some point in the city of Stockholm in Kungsholmen parish and then left without registering properly with their parish. The children were born in the City of Stockholm. The first child was born in Maria parish and the other two were born in Kungsholm.

The Söder CD for the City of Stockholm says Josef Laurentius Holmberg was born 1 February 1872 in the parish Domkyrko in the city of Göteborg.

Hermina Carolina Holmberg (Jonsson) was born 24 March 1867. John Josef Teodor Holmberg was born 30 May 1894 in Maria parish and died 5 October 1894. Josef Laurentius Holmberg was born 20 August 1895 in Maria parish.

The Kungsholmen CD for the City of Stockholm adds the birthdate for Knut Evald, which was 30 April 1897 in Kungsholm parish. Astrid Viola was listed as being born 3 July 1899.

It looks to me that the parish knew where this family was until they went to Kronobergsroten (presumably part of the city of Stockholm) on 15 September 1899, and then they didn't know where they were.

Good luck finding information about their death dates and death locations.

Judy
