Is anyone familiar with Samuel Queen, who is listed in the 1920 census as living in Bristol County? Samuel Queen was the father of Staff Sergeant Harry B. Queen, a World War II MIA who was lost in 1944 on the same Army Air Force aircraft as my uncle, 1st Lt. Irwin G. Zaetz. Sergeant Queen had no children. Within the past year, the wreckage of this aircraft was discovered in a remote part of northeastern India. Human remains were reported at the scene of the wreckage. My family is trying to notify relatives of the missing crewmen of this news.
Samuel Queen was born in 1892 and died in Middleboro, Massachusetts in 1976. His wife was Mae Queen, born in 1897. He owned Center Fish and Chips in Onset, and I believe was part of the Queen family that owned the Cove Discount Store in New Bedford. Any information on living descendants of Samuel Queen would be greatly appreciated.
