These are my ancestors. John Carpenter Curtis married Bethia Monroe married on 4/11/ 1824. They settled in Maine, NY. Bethia as per old family stories and I have yet to find the link was related to President James Monroe. They had 10 children, Mary Dewey, Watson, Ellen Cyrus Monroe, Iram, Irene, Elbridge, Rodney, Margaret Elvira, and Parmelia Trowbridge. John was born in Curtisville, MA that later became part of Stockbridge. Bethia was from Suffield Connecticut born in 1803. Both died in Maine, NY

Mary Dewey married Robert Sedgewich Osborn. And i am of the Osborn Family. We have Curtis family lineage going back to England in the 1600's if anyone is interested.
