I can't tell you much right now...will have to do some lookups in a few books I have, but Abel Curtis did live in Stockbridge, actually in what is now called Interlaken. I grew up in Interlaken and it was called Curtisville when I was very little. The Abel Curtis house still stands and is one of the oldest. I'll get back to you when I have a chance to look at some info.
