Time Frame: Approximately 1890-1930
Dear Friends: My family is looking for information in Pittsfield/Lenox area regarding these people: Lillian Greta Anderson Weedfald, her husband Emanuel, possibly her Swedish father and mother, Albertina and Hilden [Harry] Anderson, and a prominent man in the P/L areas with homes in Orange, N.J., and Connecticut, Maxwell Evarts Butler. [ Butler was an employer of Lillian Anderson before she married in 1910.]
We have not been able to find census data regarding her father and mother, Albertina and Hilden Anderson, but we believe they lived in the Pfd area b/c of portraits we have that list a Pittsfield photo gallery in 1890s. She may have had other Anderson or Bjorkander relatives there, too. Max Butler died in late November of 1930, and we would like an obituary from local paper..Have made request to Athenaeum-- no answer...We think insight into his family may provide insight into ours.
If anyone could help, we would be forever in your debt.
[We know info about Lillian's family in Pfield and that she died in 1936 in Pfd.]
