I am looking for information about Eliphalet Dean who shows up in the New Ashford census in 1810. There is also an Isaac Dean who shows up in the 1820 census. This could be the brother of Eliphalet.
Online sources have Eliphalet Dean (b. c 1771) and Isaac Dean (b. 2/12/1780)as sons of Isaac Dean and Rachel Staples of Taunton. I think (but haven't proven it yet) that this Eliphalet Dean is the father of Isaac Dean, b. New Ashford 1803.
The census index has been posted on line (thank you so much) but I'm interested in seeing whether there may be additional information in the census itself? Could someone with access to the census look it up for me?
Also, are there any other sources of information in New Ashford or in Berkshire Co that I should be looking at? Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
