I notice that you have worked on the Paddocks and apparently use primary sources, which I appreciate.Have you worked on the early men named Zachariah Paddock. In 1715 there seem to be three men by that name in the area of Yarmouth, Ma.I am trying to determine which of the three might have witnessed a Kent County Delaware deed in Nov 1715 signing:"Zac: Paddock".He witnessed together with Tristram Hedges who made the mark "H".The makers of the deed are Thomas and Sarah Parke of Kent Co and the grantee is Nathaniel Hall "Mariner".Hall had migrated to Delaware from Barnstable Co MA.I have found no further evidence of either Paddock or Hedges in Delaware so perhaps they returned to Barnstable Co.About 1711 a dozen or so families from the Chatham area migrated to Kent-on-the-Delaware,but some apparently returned.Sometimes men of the same name had slightly different ways of signing and this signature is somewhat distinctive:"Zac:Paddock".There seems to be very little "modern" research on these early families--everyone just passing around what appeared in books 100 years ago.I have not visited Barnstable County for actual research.
