I am searching for marriage record and divorce information concerning Laura Adelaide Brown, d/o Henry M. Brown and Eva E. Saley, born in Foxboro in 1898, who married and divorced a Mr. Chase in Barnstable Co., MA. between 1820 and 1830. In 1820, she was living in Harwich, MA. on Orleans Road with a Mr. Baker and was a housekeeper. Also living with her was her daughter, Norma Elizabeth Brown, who was born in Providence, R.I. in 1919. By 1830, Laura had returned home to Holbrook, MA. to live with her parents and her last name was Chase and she was divorced. This marriage and divorce most likely took place in Harwich, MA. but could possibly have taken place in Orleans or Chatham in MA. Any information would be very much appreciated.
