Hi! My husband is related to you through Elliot Hickman (GGGrandfather). There are other great-grandsons living. My father-in-law and at least 2 of his brothers are still alive and lucid; they are in their 70's & 80's. There are also some more distant cousins (3rd, I think), but I'm not real sure where they come in; I'd have to ask my father-in-law.
Anyway, I know that they never had any contact with their great-grandfather, as he died well before any of them were born; their grandfather, who was born after Eliot Hickman's death, also died before they were born.
I would be interested in copies (preferably, electronic) of the headstones for Eliot and Rebecca. I haven't been able to get my husband to make a research trip over to the Benton and Scott County areas in Arkansas.
