I'm writing in regards to your post on the Lytle Genforum page. My Grandfather was Glen (Glengarry) A. Lytle (b. October 04, 1937 in Ca. - d.May 10, 1967 in Contra Costa Co., Ca.) I have very little information on this family line other than what I've recovered from the California
Death Index, SSDI, and the 1930 US Census. I have found that he had two brothers by the name of Ross Woods Lytle (b. January 17, 1941 Ca. - d. 9November 09, 1983 Sacramento, Ca.) and Ronald Bruce Lytle (b. October
17, 1933 in Ca. - d. October 07, 1981 Sacramento, Ca.).
In the Californian Death Index, all three of the Lytle boys had Ramshaw as the name of their Mother's maiden name. In the 1930 Census I have
found Bruce B. Lytle in Oakland Ca. with his parents Robert and Ida. The three of them are listed as immigrating in 1929 from Ontario, Canada.
This sure sounds like your Lytle's other than the maiden name for Mabel. I'm very new to researching this line and would love to hear what you have. I never met my Grandfather and my Mother had only met him once.
We therefore have absolutely no photos of the Lytle's or their related families. Any information would be most appreciated!
