Frances who married Mr. Lyons, Virginia
I have a very perplexing problem I'm trying to solve, and I'm not sure how to solve it, so I'm appealing to Lyons descendents to help me.
I have a woman named Frances, who was married to a man surnamed Lyons before she married my ggg grandfather John Saunders in Portsmouth, Norfolk Co., Virginia. She married John about 1857 but she had three children before then (I have their names and approximate birth dates from the 1860 Census if it would help). I don't know if her former husband died or they were divorced, only that the three children were living with her and John in 1860.

I suspect they divorced sometime between 1850 and 1857 because he was with Elizabeth in 1850 and she was remarried to Charles H. Hasker (a seaman from England) in 1860.

I need to know her maiden name, parents, and where and when she was born, etc.
