Michael Lyons (Luby) married Nora Hawley in 1907 in Christchurch. They were both Irish Immigrants (Waterford & Tipperary). They moved to Orari Gorge in 1910 when they acquired part of the Tripp Settlement. They had two daughters, Mary & Margaret.
Nora died in 1940,
Michael died in 1956,
Mary died in 1974, and,
Margaret died in 1986.
They are buried in Bromley Cemetery in Christchurch.
Margaret's will indicates cousins named, Shaw, Baird and Hunt.
Any information on their lives is greatly appreciated.
