James W Lyon/s & Hannah Parker, m abt 1868. TX
James W. Lyons (b 1846 MS - d?) and Hannah Parker (b. abt 1847 MS - d. ?) she may have been the d/o Hardy Andrew & Nancy Parker.
Their firt known child was b. 1869 and died young, sometime aft the 1880 cenus. There is a grave for a Sarah Lyons in the McKinney Cemetery, Hardin Co TX with no dates. This is a replacement headstone and the original was discarded, unfortunately.
Other children of James & Hannah were:
James W. (Jr), 1871 - ?
Lillian "Lillie" Nancy Lyons, Dec 3, 1873 - Jan 7, 1917, married 1st James Langston, 2nd Mitchel Elias Cross, she is buried in the Village Mills Cem, Hardin Co, TX.
Jessie E. 1875 - ?
Oscar William , Apr 29, 1877 - Aug 1, 1962, married Beatrice Missouri Nicklebur. They and some children are buried in the Jordan Cem, Honey Island, Hardin Co, TX.
Seeking any further info on desc or confirmation as to whether these other children died young and if so when, where are they buried?
Who were James W. Lyons' parents? I have seen reference to a William & Marion Lyon/s from Jackson, MS.
Who were Hannah's parents? There is a Hanah in the 1860 Census for Providence Hill, Hardin Co, TX with the parents names as Hardy & Nancy Parker. This may be the same Hannah.
I welcome any help!
Thanks
Sherry
