Another thought. You could check for the marriage of James Lyons in the period before William's birth in 1857.

IFHF shows Tyrone non-Catholic marriages 1845 Omagh RD, 1847 Cookstown RD, 1851 Omagh RD and 1854 Cookstown RD.

Under Co Armagh there is 1852 Clonfeacle RC - and this Catholic parish seems to include the adjoining district of Co Tyrone that interests you.
