Unfortunately the IFHF indexes don't appear to have a William Lyons born about 1857, son of James.

Where did the 1879 marriage of William Lyons & Susan Coleman take place - Catholic, Church of Ireland, Presbyterian, Civil Register Office etc? Knowing their religious affiliation would help.

Since William Lyons was a widower in 1879, you could check out earlier marriages in the area to see if you can identify the right one. IFHF has a number of possibiities.

I notice that Killyman parish is right on the border between County Tyrone and County Armagh so you may have to search a wider area.

As a last resort you could look at the 1901 census and the civil death records to see if you can pick up your family or any of their relatives. It might give you a clue.

Good luck,

John
