Theresa Lyons Kennedy, nee Lyons, age 84, formerly of Western Springs and Hickory Hills, died May 15, 2006, loving mother of Robert V. Kennedy Jr. of Glendale, CA, Edward J. Kennedy of Lafayette, CO, Michael L. Kennedy of New Lenox, IL and the late Susan M. Kennedy and Jane L. Miller; cherished grandmother of nine; former wife of the late Robert V. Kennedy; devoted daughter of the late Michael and Nora Lyons, nee Kilkenny; preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, where a Prayer Service will begin at 3 p.m. Terry was employed at the Chicago Tribune and retired in 2001. She enjoyed life, gardening and international travel. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 700 Broadway, Suite 810, Denver, CO 80203-3442, Attn: Donation processing, would be greatly appreciated. 708-425-0500.
