I am searching for information about James Lyons b. April 11, 1778 NY d. Oct 15, 1837 Texas M. Martha E ? b. June 29, 1786 Mass. d. Aug 20, 1872 TX. I lack a great deal of information about his parents, county in NY he was born in, his wife's maiden name and parents, and which country his family came from. I has been suspected that the orgin of the family might be Scotland or Ireland, but I do not have any concrete proof. Does anyone have any leads?
