James Lynn of Clones Parish Married 1821 in Galloon Parish, Fermanagh, Ireland
I’m looking for descendants, particularly direct male (Lynn) descendants, of either of these couples found in Galloon Parish marriage records:
6 Apr 1821 - James Lynn of Clones Parish and Elizabeth Morrison of Drummully Parish
5 Sep 1828 - John Lynn of Tallyearl [Tullyearl] West, Drumholm Parish, Raphoe Diocese, and Margaret Morrison of Lisnashellady
I don’t know why a couple would be married in a parish in which neither party was resident.I’m also wondering if James and/or John might be a brother of William Lynn who had children baptized in Galloon Parish beginning in 1825.FYI, Clones Parish is divided between the neighboring counties of Fermanagh and Monaghan. While William’s oldest children were baptized in Galloon Parish, he had younger children baptized in Clones Parish. The seat of Clones Parish is the town of Clones, which actually is located in County Monaghan.
