I was doing a search on Ancestry.com for information about John Boss Lynn. I do this periodically to see if anything "new" has come up. Today I found: Records of Men Enlisted In The U.S. Army Prior To The Peace Establishment, May 17, 1815. It says he was enlisted on June 1 1814 and discharged April 14, 1815. I am pretty sure this is John Boss Lynn. It also states on this record that he was born in S.C. The only thing that makes me think this is not him is the age that is listed for him. It says 26 on the form, but if he was born in 1793 that would make him 21, not 26. Has anyone seen this record before. I am going to try and post a link to it, and I hope that it works. Please let me know what y'all think.
