I am a descendant of Jesse McClendon and Susannah White of North Carolina and Jackson Co., Tennessee. I looking for information on Susannah White's parents, I found several posted famile trees showing her father to be William White, b. 1750 in Granville Co., NC., d. 28 Jun 1816 in McMinnville, Warren co., Tennessee. Her mother is posted as being Bethia Lyne, b. 1750 in Lunenberg Parish, Richmond Co., Virginia, d. 1831 McMinnville, Warren Co., Tennessee.
One of Jesse McClendon and Susannah White's daughters was Elizabeth McClendon who married John Rogers and ends up in Illinois.
I noticed that many of the same surnames appeared in your post. Maybe we can be of help to each other.
