Hi Linda, I have checked and it is my Thomas Lynd! I have a copy of his Pensear record information taken from 1851 census gives Thomas as aged 8 ( born 1843 ). His parents' names are Hugh Lynd (born circa 1815) and Rachel (unknown maiden name) date of marriage given as 1842. My grandfather Hugh (presumably named after his grandfather)was born later. If you have any further information on this family I would appreciate it. Sue
