I'm looking for the parents of M. E. (Elizabeth ?) Bettie LYND of "East" Texas. She married James L.R. SWEARINGEN on 19-July-1877 in Navarro Co., TX. He moved to Texas in 1872 when his father, Richard Judson and mother, Catherine F. (Fannie ?) [ROBERTS] SWEARINGEN when they and his siblings and several cousins migrated from LaPlace, Macon Co., AL.
