Samuel G. Lynd b. June 21, 1811 in KY. His mother was Sarah Galloway and I think his father was James Lynd. Samuel died November 9, 1881 in IN. Jane Doak b.Oct. 26, 1813 in KY. Her father was Joseph W. Doak b. Dec. 24, 1786 in KY or VA. died 1820 in Stampers Creek,Orange Co.,IN. Her mother was Polly Irvin b. Jan. 8, 1780 and died July 9, 1814 in Jessamine Co., KY. They were married April 1811. Jane died Feb. 1, 1883 in IN.

2. James W. b. Dec. 21, 1836 d. Mar. 17, 1907
3. Polly Ann b. Nov. 29, 1838 d. Dec. 21, 1889

5. Martha Sarah (Mattie) b. Aug. 2, 1842 d. 1912
6. Joseph S. b. April 19,1845 d. Nov. 5, 1920
7. Shelby Potter b. Nov. 1, 1847 d. Nov. 9, 1861
8. George Galloway b. Aug. 1, 1848 d.Dec.3, 1931
