I don't think so, Mark...

I would not put too much worth in your ancestors' name of Kitts with the name of the Island of St. Kitts... the island name is an old-world abbreviation for St. Christopher.

And though I have records of Lynch travelling from Barbados to Nevis and Antigua, apparently also with relatives in Montserrat, my main search is for Lynch in Barbados. There was a very successful merchant Lynch family there headed by Anthony, then Dominic (and Patrick, I believe). It is specifically the latter two I appear to be connected to somehow.

My apparent Lynch ancestors seem to have emigrated from Barbados at the end of the 18th century, where to I have no idea yet, so we are off a matching timeline by about 100 years. My documented ancestors remained in Barbados and were quite successful themselves.

If you come across anything useful please get in touch... you could even try registering on my Caribbean Surname Index and placing a Post there for someone else to find:
